Against Me!: I Was a Teenage Anarchist

“Do you remember when you were young and you wanted to set the world on fire?” As the song’s title implies, this is all about being a teenage anarchist. I’m sure a lot of people can relate to this song, whether you are/were an “anarchist”. It’s sort of political, like most punk songs, so that alone might make you like it. Or not. I don’t know, really.

I really liked Tom Gabel’s voice. It was very powerful. Hell, I’m sure it’s still powerful, even after his transition from Tom to Laura Jane Grace. I haven’t heard anything current by them (if there is, indeed, anything current out. I haven’t been keeping up, to be honest), but I’m sure it kicks ass.

Oh, and the video is great, too.
